If you answered “yes” to any of these questions it makes sense to get in touch with our experienced team of highly trained specialists today. We offer services including individualized learning programs, regular assessments and educational interventions which include speech therapy sessions, behavioral training sessions, occupational therapy and physical therapy and many other therapies available upon request. Here are four ways you may benefit by joining our program:
1.) Learn From Our Years Of Experience
We take time getting to understand what our clients needs are; learning what type of curriculum or intervention strategies work best is something unique to each family. Not to mention having specialized training gives children the ability to reach higher academic levels than ever before because their personal learning style differs from regular school environments. Whether it’s reading comprehension, writing skills, math concepts or memory recall it goes way deeper than simply understanding content and facts.
2.) A Custom Plan Tailored For Your Child Is Created Just For Them
Most parents ask us for ‘a plan tailored just for my son or daughter’ and although we cannot guarantee it will meet 100% of their requirements. Regardless, their individualised approach to instruction helps ensure maximum potential outcomes for them. And although they may fall short occasionally due to lack of sleep, exhaustion or uncooperative behaviors, overall it’s far better than settling for standard learning methods and practices.

Title: Why the “Unicorn” Is Making Its Way Back Into Our Vocabulary - Julie Anne Quayle
Description: If you follow me on Instagram, I shared recently my thoughts on the unicorn phenomenon. But what exactly IS a Unicorn, anyway?
I decided this morning to research the history behind the term ‘unicorn’, and found myself intrigued as well as confused. To begin with, let’s define the word; unicorns are mythical creatures thought to possess powers of magic and rare beauty. They usually appear in stories, legends and fantasies — and sometimes they become real. And yes, the animal associated with them is called a unicorn because it only exists once every generation. So where did it come from? My search led me to discover many fascinating facts about these beautiful animals.
According to legend, the first recorded appearance of unicorns occurred during ancient Greek mythology. Some believe King Arthur used the power of his sword Excaliber to slay the legendary creature known as Unicorne, but that story may just be another myth that came along centuries afterwards. However, the earliest historical evidence of the existence of a living, breathing unicorn dates back thousands of years in Egypt to around 2700 BC.

I personally had this issue too, especially during my school days. I struggled with dyslexic issues (as well as ADHD). It took me longer to understand things than most people but when I did, everything became easier to memorize. Unfortunately, many teachers did not accept these type of learners in Canadian schools. Because of this attitude it took a long time for me to find a good teacher willing to understand the situation I faced. We could easily be like today’s young adults facing unemployment rates twice that which existed 50 years ago.
In 2019 I decided to take action and started making friends around Morinville and found a great group of talented educators working together to solve real problems! Together with these dedicated teachers I created this website called TutorOne. Today, thousands of families across North America use TutorOne everyday with amazing results.
TutorOne provides the tools every parent needs whether it’s English Language Arts, Math, Science, French, German, Reading Specialist, Spelling Programmer, Autism Teacher Trainer, Behavioral Support Worker, or Speech Therapist. All our classes come complete with lesson materials, video demonstrations, interactive quizzes, homework assignments, daily feedback reports, personalized training programs, and a private messaging system allowing for ongoing communication with your local Team Member. Our mission is to provide everyone access to professional quality teachers, and to empower those individuals to bring value, enjoyment, confidence and hope back to the classroom.
#1 Provide Learning Materials
If this child can read but does not understand something he/she should try reading something else instead because learning material which cannot be understood causes unnecessary burden upon him/her. So, provide materials which they can relate better. If possible use pictures along with words in order to enhance retention.
#2 Prepare Questions ahead
If the teacher asks questions regarding certain concepts then prepare answers beforehand rather than rushing to answer during class hours. This helps in preparing answers in advance and prevents wasting precious class times due to answering questions.
#3 Learn About Their Interests and Skills
Children who love sports and arts often score well in school. Teachers must focus on helping those children develop interests in areas they are naturally talented in. For example, if a kid loves music, teach her through different instruments like piano, guitar etc. Similarly try to find things she likes doing like cooking or baking. These hobbies can serve as good outlets for expressing herself and making friends outside classroom environment.
#4 Allow Them Time Out Of Classroom Activities
There is nothing wrong if you allow your special needs student to leave the lecture hall once in awhile, especially after finishing his work for that day. He/She might feel bored if no activity is provided for him. Moreover, he/she gets motivated to learn more once left alone. Try to keep them away from distractions and ensure you take care of basic necessities so that they remain calm.
#5 Use Different Methods And Techniques
Teaching methods vary and teachers adopt various techniques depending on age group, subject area and personality traits of the learner. A typical lesson could include writing lessons, discussion sessions, listening practice, games etc. All these elements play equally important roles towards achieving overall objective i.e.

Special needs students come in various forms and a lot depends upon the nature of those disabilities. Some examples include autism spectrum disorders(ASDs), intellectual impairments (ID & Iq) and visual impairments. Depending on which category the condition falls under, they may be eligible for certain types of aid including accommodations in school settings. However, since there isn’t always agreement among educational boards/boards regarding who qualifies as disabled, it makes sense to find information through reliable sources outside of government agencies regarding your own personal situation.

Who Should Adopt TutorOne’s Tutoring Methodology?
Every parent knows that the average public school education system has its faults, but few know that there are alternatives. Every year, parents become educated more about the effectiveness of individualizing children’s education. They understand that learning styles and learning strategies vary greatly among students and that students require additional focus and encouragement to excel, especially in subjects such as math, science, and reading. Students learn differently than adults; children absorb knowledge faster and retain it longer than adults can; and they’re less prone to procrastination. TutorOne’s comprehensive approach teaches kids to think positively, and teaches students when they don’t perform up to par.
Testimonial By A Parent Like You
"My son recently turned 15, and started taking Advanced Placement exams. He was doing quite poorly in Spanish II and English III, having scored only a 2 and 3 respectively. With one week left before he needed to take the AP test, I decided to enroll him in TutorOne Private Tutoring. His teacher had told me that he was a bright kid, but just didn’t put forth the effort required to excel. My son came home every day telling me about the amazing learning experience he was having with TutorOne. He did score a 4 on his Spanish II test, and his overall grade point average went from a 2.9 (D) to a 4.8 (A+) in Spanish, and a 1.7 (F) to a 4.0 (A) in English. Most importantly though, my son learned to love his studies and got a kick out of seeing his grades soaring. It was truly eye opening to see how one lesson per week changed everything." ~ Lisa H.,Parent, California
The TutorOne Difference

TutorOne is committed to the belief that every student thrives best in a positive, fun-loving, nurturing learning environment.
