2. Individualized Program Delivery
In order to accommodate special educational needs, the ministry requires that parent participation occur in program planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting. As such, Parent Participation Plans form part of the Individual Education Plan (IEP). Please note that this document should only be used until the child reaches Grade 9 unless otherwise advised by a physician. All children aged 4-16 years old are eligible for Ontario’s publicly funded programs. 3. Service Providers Must Be Licensed
Any licensed institution or program provider, regardless of registration status, cannot apply for OSEN funding without being legally authorized to conduct programming in Ontario. For example, individuals working fulltime but operating unlicensed daycamps would not qualify to participate in OSEN service provisioning.
